1775-12-01, Proceedings of the Convention of Delegates
The Proceedings of the Convention of Delegates in Richmond, Virginia from December 1, 1775 to January 20, 1776. Of note, on December 8th, the
convention discussed the November 7th proclamation issued by Gov. John Murray (Lord Dunmore), declaring martial law in the colony. The proclamation further
offered freedom to any slave or indentured servant who fought for the British against the "traitors." (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title
originally held by the Virginia State Library).
Title:   The proceedings of the convention of delegates, held at the town of Richmond, in the colony of Virginia, on Friday the 1st of December, 1775, and afterwards, by adjournment, in the city of Williamsburg.
