Joint Select Comm. on Abolition. Report, 1835
|
|
1835 Report of the Joint Select Committee on the subject of abolition. The report characterized the abolitionists of the North and East as "misguided, wicked men," and while still standing with the Union, that stance might change if North Carolina's "just demands" were not met. a series of resolutions followed in support of these requirements. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the University of North Carolina Library at Chapel Hill).
