Committee of Claims report concerning the case of Green B. Palmer, regarding a contract dispute between the complainant and the North Carolina Board
of Internal Improvements. The contract to improve and open a portion of the Broad River; the contract was ended when the Board decided that Palmer
had not complied with the contract stipulations. The committee decided to give additional money to him, as the initial payment was deemed insufficient.
