Treasury Dept. Report on tax revenue & dispersements, 1848

December 16, 1848 report to the House of Commons from the North Carolina Public Treasurer for the years 1847 and 1848. Included were the reports of
the Literary Board; a table showing whites population in each county, as well as the federal population, the number of white children between 5-10
years old, and the taxes paid by counties, and amount distributed to each from the School funds. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally
held by the Library of Congress).
