1837 Report and resolutions of the Joint Committee to investigate the condition of various banks, along with supporting statement interrogatories and
answers by the banks. The committee resolved that the banks were in sufficiently good condition to resume specie payment when banking institutions
should also do so, and that legislature should be passed to end this suspension. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the
