1822 Report of the Select Committee in reference to the report of John S. Herring,agent for the Commonwealth of Virginia, regarding military lands in
Kentucky in which officers and soldiers of the Revolutionary War were offered bounties (warrants) in certain "military district" lands following
their service. This report reviewed the history, and then made various conclusions regarding the warrants which were issued at different times and
