1776-09-12, Raising troops and supplies for defense of N.Y.
September 12, 1776 Numerous resolution in support of raising troops and supplies to assist the troops stationed in New York resist the British Army.
Included were an order to send one-fifth of the militia, with some exceptions, to be under the command of the Continental Army to join the New York
troops. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the American Antiquarian Society Library in Worcester, Massachusetts).
