1775-05-06, Proclamation placing a bounty on P. Henry (version 1)
May 6, 1775 Proclamation issued by Gov. John Murray, Lord Dunmore, requiring citizens not to assist Patrick Henry and other such persons, in their
acts of "vengeance" against the King. This proclamation was the first version; see LLMC #22445 for another issue. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of
title originally held by the Collection of Mrs. George Coleman in Williamsburg, Virginia).
