Continental Congress invitation to Quebec, 1774-10-26
|
|
An invitation dated September 5, 1774 to the inhabitants of the Province of Quebec from the Continental Congress in Philadelphia. The delegates
wrote to the citizens to first remind them of their rights as now British subjects and to consider the instances that the citizens were not treated
fairly. Finally the citizens of Quebec were encouraged to meet, select delegates and join the Continental Congress on May 18, 1775. (Digitized from a
