1766-03-01, Proceedings of the Sons of Liberty
March 1, 1766 proceedings of the Sons of Liberty of Baltimore County and Anne-Arundel County, which met in Annapolis, Maryland. Among various
decisions, the members decided to invite other Sons of Liberty groups to join them on March 31st. May 18, 1766 Broadside, printed in Boston, which
announced that the Stamp Act had been repealed. This act, passed by the British Parliament, and to go into effect in November 19 1765 caused many protests
throughout the colonies; nine of which met in New York in October 1765 to discussed further actions. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title
