House No. 60 Fifteen men signed a Petition from residents of East Cambridge dated March 28, 1836. The residents were in favor of the Hancock Free Bridge, but wished all parties would consider a point between Cambridge Port and the village of East Cambridge for the Cambridge terminus as doing the least damage and providing the most benefit for the residents of the area.
