SEE ALSO 52538 Senate No. 17 On January 28, 1834, Reverend Phineas Fish vigorously defended himself against the charges of the Marshpee Indians.
He attributed much of the unrest to the itinerant preacher, Apes. He cast doubt on the ability of the Marshpee to manage their own affairs.
