Description and Holding Information
1833, Warren Bridge Company. Returns made to the Governor, 1829-33
House No. 35 On February 11, 1833, the Governor passed along several years of the financial reports of the Warren Bridge Corporation. In 1828, the
corporation spent $55,670 to build the bridge and opened it on December 26, 1828. The toll income in 1829 was $19,431 and it paid $17/share in
dividends. Toll income moved to $20,000 and above for the next several years and the dividend payout increased except for 1832 because of high expenses.
