No. 60 Shortly after February 25, 1828, the Proprietors of the Charles River Bridge sent a memorial to the Legislature holding themselves willing to do almost anything to retain their franchise: widen the bridge, change the draw arrangement, widen adjacent roads, etc. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Massachusetts State Library).
