1842, Petitions on constitutional revision on suffrage (MS)
1842 Petitions from citizens of numerous towns, to the General Assembly, seeking more just and equal representation and for the extension of the
right of suffrage. Of note, some of these petitions were on a form, others were not. Following these petitions, the General Assembly passed various
resolutions regarding a constitutional convention and the method for the elections of the delegates and the approval or rejection of the resulting
