An examination of the Acts of Parliament, relative to the trade and the government of the American colonies; along with the different constitutions
of colonial governments. Also included were remarks, by way of a bill, for the amendment of the laws of Great Britain in relation to the government
and trade of these colonies. The manuscript was prepared by James Abercrombie for submission to the Earl of Halifax in May 1752. (Digitized from a
