1830, Conn. Gov.'s Communication concerning the U.S. Constitution [Md. Doc.]
1830 Communication from the Connecticut governor regarding changes to the U.S. Constitution with respect to presidential and vice-presidential
elections. The legislature of Connecticut passed a resolution which was not in favor of any changes, given its negative effect on smaller states. Of note,
the resolution was sent to Maryland; the resolutions from other states included a six year, non-electoral election. (Digitized from a microfilm copy
of title originally held by the Maryland State Library).
