resolution from the United States Congress. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the Connecticut Historical Society Library (c.1)

Title:   A proclamation : It having pleased Almighty God ... to bestow great and manifold mercies ... Resolved, that it be and hereby is recommended to ... the said states, to appoint Wednesday the thirtieth day of December next ... as a day of public thanksgiving ... Done in Congress, this 17th day of November, 1778
