October 25, 1776 broadside issued by Governor Jonathan Trumbull of Connecticut, proclaiming December 5th as a day of thanksgiving and in support of
the people of the United States. Attached to the second copy is a manuscript proverb written on verso; half of the writing is upside down. (Digitized
from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the Connecticut Historical Society Library (c.1) and Yale University Library, New Haven,
Connecticut (c.2)).
