Pamphlet entitled "Nar[r]ative of the treatment Coll. Bayard received," which was published in 1702. This document (which covered the same trial as
in LLMC #20605-8) covered a period from the time of the sentence for treason to the publication of Bayard's petition to the acting Governor Nanfan.
The latter subsequently published this petition and the author claimed it was to justify the proceedings against Bayard. (Source of the digitized
