The Preface explains that the laws of six countries (England, France, German, Spain, the Argentine Republic and Turkey) treated at greater length. Other countries and colonies are treated more briefly, including the laws of other European countries, Canada and its provinces, British colonies, Mexico and other Spanish American Republics, India, Japan and China. A table of contents and index are included.
