A New edition with the author’s last corrections and improvements, to which is prefixed a short account of his life, written by himself. Published by Henry T. Coates & Co. Each volume includes a Table of Contents and Notes. Vol. I: A.D. 52-1307; Vol. II: A.D. 1307-1538 Vol. III:A.D. 1538-1611. Vol. I includes Hume’s autobiographical statement and a letter from Adam Smith about Hume’s final illness and death, both dated 1776.
