Aden which was located in the south portion of contemporary Yemen. Prior to 1937 Aden was governed as part of British India. In 1937 it was established
as a separate colony of the United Kingdom. In 1963 it was established as the Federation of South Arabia and in 1967 it became the People's Republic
of South Yemen. There is an alphabetical index of ordinances and a table of ordinances enacted in chronological order. Each ordinance includes brief
