The 1886 Acts and Ordinances of the Legislative Council of the Straits Settlements, In addition, Acts of Parliament, Orders of Queen Victoria in
Council, letters patent and Indian acts in force in the Colony of the Straits Settlements were also included in the two volumes. There were separate
table of contents, a chronological table of the ordinances, and a general index to the short titles of the acts and ordinances. An appendix in volume 1
contained certain acts passed by the Governor General of India in Council and by the Siam Order in Council in 1886.
