(This volume, dealing with the treatment of Indians in Latin America, contains an Introduction by Ernest Nys and a translation of the Introduction by John Pawley Bate. This is followed by a translation of the text by John Pawley Bate, the revised text by Herbert Francis Wright with prefatory remarks and an index of authors cited, p.473. The introduction is in English and French and the text is in English and Latin. The last part of the volume is a photographic reproduction of Simon's edition of 1696.)
