Little & James Brown (Boston 1850). Vol. 1 (xxi+953 p.) includes the Treatise of Laws, Preliminary Book, and Part I, Of Engagements. Vol. 2 (viii+781 p.) includes Part II, Of Successions. Each volume contains a table of contents. Vol. 2 includes an Appendix (Explanation: The Manner in Which the Texts of the Roman Law are Referred to in the Foregoing Treatise); a Table of the Rubrics of the Several Titles of the Institutes, Digest, and Code, arranged in alphabetical order); and an Index to the whole work.
