Judicial Statistics of the Third to the Tenth Year of the Republic of China. Compiled by the Ministry of Justice. Published in two volumes by the
Commission on Extraterritoriality (Peking 1925). These volumes contain tables with statistics for Civil Cases (Vol. I) and Criminal Cases (Vol. II),
including the numbers of cases accepted and disposed of by the Courts of First Instance, the Court of First Appeal and the Court of Second Appeal for each
year, and tables providing a comparison of cases accepted and disposed of by these courts for each year. Tables in volume II include data on persons
accused and punishments inflicted, suspension of sentences, and classification of crimes with the number of persons accused and punishments. (An
Explanatory Note in each volume states: “Statistical reports issued by the Ministry of Justice are compiled from the records of all the Courts of Justice
of China excluding the Supreme Court which publishes its own reports.”)
