Treaty with the Comanche and Witchetaw Indians and their associated Bands, August 24, 1835, 7 Stat. 474-477. ( Treaty of Peace and Friendship between
the United States and the Comanche and Witchetaw Indians and their associated Bands. All previous hostilities are forgiven, and U.S. citizens are
granted free passage through Indian country. This treaty was not intended to interrupt the friendly relationship the Indians have with the Republic of
Mexico. Other tribes also signed. The treaty was concluded at Camp Holmes on the eastern border of the Grand Prairie in the Muscogee Nation on August
24, 1835.)
