1832-05-09, Treaty with the Seminoles
Treaty with the Seminoles, May 9, 1832, 7 Stat. 368-370. ( Treaty with the Seminoles in which they cede all their land in the Territory of Florida
and agree to emigrate to the land assigned to the Creeks west of the Mississippi River. The land occupied by the Creeks was to be enlarged in order to
accommodate the Seminoles. They were given three years after ratification of this treaty to move west of the Mississippi River. The treaty was
concluded on May 9, 1832 at Payne's Landing on the Ocklewaha River in the Florida Territory.)
