Treaty of Peace and Friendship between the United States of American and the Kings, Chiefs and Warriors of the Creek Nation of Indians on the Part of the said Nation, June 29, 1796, 7 Stat. 56-60. ( A peace and friendship treaty between the United States and the Creek Nation of Indians. The treaty sets general boundaries from the Currahee Mountain to the main south branch of the Oconee River and provides for the President to determine specific boundaries. The President may also determine if military or trading posts should be established on the Indian lands. The treaty was signed at St. Marys, Georgia in Camden County.)
