Articles of a Treaty between the United States and the Great and Little Osage Indians, January 11, 1839, 7 Stat. 576-579. ( Articles of a Treaty
between the United States and the Great and Little Osage Indians in which the Indians cede any interest in any reservation claimed by them within the
limits of any other tribe. They also relinquish any interest to land they received under the Treaty of November 10, 1808, 7 Stat. 107 (LLMC 69793) and the
Treaty of June 2, 1825, 7 Stat. 240 (LLMC 69868). In consideration the United States agreed to pay the Indians an annuity of $20,000 for twenty
years. Twelve thousand was to be paid in money and eight thousand in goods, stock, and provisions. Supplementary Articles were concluded on February 7,
1839, 7 Stat. 578-579. ( The treaty was concluded at Fort Gibson, west of Arkansas on January 11, 1839.)
