Education, Bureau of Indian Affairs, and printed by Phoenix Indian School Print Shop (1954). 209 p. From the foreword: “[A] number of stories and articles,
authored by Navajos, have appears in Adahooniligii, the Navajo language monthly newspaper. … [S]ome give an insight into Navajo attitudes and record
reaction to important historic events, which might not otherwise be available to the non-Navajo public. … [Selected and published] bilingually in the
present volume.” Published in English and Navajo, the contents are arranged in five parts: 1: The Traditional Navajo Country; 2: Historical Narratives;
3: Livestock Reduction; 4: The Blizzard of 1949; and 5: The Long Range Bill.
