Ordinance No. 26, Law and Order Code (enacted by the Tribal Council of the Colorado River Indian Tribes that follow the Law and Order Code). The Code
includes six articles: I, General Provisions; II, Courts and Procedure; III, Criminal Offenses; IV, Children and Domestic Relations; V, Expulsion of
Non-Members; VI, Traffic Control and Operation of Vehicles. The Ordinance was effective June 22, 1974. Also included is Ordinance 26B, effective June
22, 1974; and Ordinance 26A, effective October 9, 1974; and the Constitution and Bylaws of the Colorado River Indian Tribes of the Colorado River
Indian Reservation, Arizona and California (approved 1975).
