Treaty between the United States and the Pottawatamy (Potawatomie) Tribe of Indians. The Indians ceded four sections of land reserved for them by the
treaty concluded on October 27, 1832 (LLMC 69918) on the Tippecanoe River in the State of Indiana. In consideration the United States agreed to pay the
Indians $2,560 at the next payment of the annuity they receive. The treaty was concluded on March 26, 1836 at a camp in Turkey Creek Prairie in the State
of Indiana.)
