Treaty with the Belantse-etoa or Minnetsaree Tribe, July 30, 1825, 7 Stat. 261-263. ( Treaty of Peace and Friendship between the United States and the Belantse-etoa or Minnetsaree Tribe. The Indians were taken under the protection of the United States and acknowledge its supremacy. The agents of the President are to designate places for trade and the Indians agreed never to sell guns or ammunition to tribes unfriendly to the United States. The treaty was concluded at the Lower Mandan Village on July 30, 1825.)
