Articles of a Treaty between the United States and the Ioway Tribe of Indians, October 19, 1838, 7 Stat. 568-569. ( Articles of a Treaty between the
United States and the Ioway Tribe of Indians in which the Indians cede the land between the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers and the boundary between
the Sacs and Foxes, and Sioux established in the Treaty of August 19, 1825, 7 Stat. 272 (LLMC 69881). Article 2 lists the stipulations the United
States agrees to in the treaty. The treaty was concluded at the Great Nemowhaw sub-agency on October 19,1838.)
