Treaty with the Poncar Tribe, June 9, 1825, 7 Stat. 247-249. ( Treaty of Friendship between the United States and the Poncar Tribe in which the
Poncars are taken under the protection of the United States. In return the Indians promise never to sell guns or ammunition to tribes unfriendly to the
United States. The treaty was concluded at the Poncar Village at the mouth of White Paint Creek in the State of Kentucky on June 9, 1825.)
