1832-10-27, Kaskaskia and Peoria Tribes-U.S.
Articles of a Treaty between the United States and the Kaskaskia and Peoria Tribes, October 27, 1832, 7 Stat. 403-405. ( Articles of a Treaty between
the United States and the Kaskaskia and Peoria Tribes, which are united with the Michigamia, Cahokia, and Tamarois Bands. The Kaskaskia Tribe cedes
the land they received by the Treaty of Vincennes, 7 Stat. 78 ( LLMC 69777). They also relinquised to the United States the permanent annuity of $1,000
they received under that treaty. The Peoria Tribe cedes their claims to land in the states of Illinois and Missouri reserved to them in former
treaties. In consideration for these cessions the united Kaskaskia and Peoria Tribes were to receive an annuity of $3,000 in either money, merchandise, or
domestic stock. The treaty was concluded at Castor Hill in St.Louis County in the State of Missouri on October 27, 1832.)

Allen, and Nathan Kouns, commissioners on the part of the United States, of the one part; and the Kaskaskia and Peoria tribes, which with the Michigamia, Cahokia and Tamarois bands, now united with the two first named tribes, formerly composed the Illinois nation of Indians, of the other part.
