1816-06-04, Articles of a Treaty Made and Entered into at Fort Harrison
Articles of a Treaty between the United States and the Weas and Kickapoos, June 4, 1816, 7 Stat. 145-146. ( Treaty of Peace and Friendship between
the United States and Weas and Kickapoos which confirms the Treaty of Greenville concluded August 8, 1795, 7 Stat. 49 (LLMC 69764). The Indians also
approved the boundary lines marked by the United States on the land on the Wabash and White Rivers they ceded to the U.S. in 1809. The treaty was
concluded at Fort Harrison in the Indiana Territory on June 6, 1816.)
Title:   Articles of a treaty made and entered into at Fort Harrison, in the Indiana Territory between Benjamin Parke, specially authorized thereto by the president of the United States, of the one part, and the tribes of Indians called the Weas and the Kickapoos, by their chiefs and head men, of the other part.
