Articles of a Treaty between the United States and the Sacs and Foxes, the Medawah-Kanton, Wahpacoota, Wahpeton and Sissetong Bands of Sioux, the
Omahas, Ioways, Ottoes and Missourias, July 15, 1830, 7 Stat. 328-332. ( Articles of a Treaty between the United States and the Sacs and Foxes, the
Medawah-Kanton, Wahpacoota, Wahpeton and Sissetong Bands of Sioux, the Omahas, Ioways, Ottoes and Missourias. The Tribes ceded the land to the United
States described in Article I. They may use the land for hunting with the approval of the President. Articles II and III describe additional cessions by
the Sacs and Foxes, Medawah-Kanton, Wah-pa-coota, Wahpeton and Sisseton Bands of Sioux. Articles IV-XI describe the consideration received by each
Tribe. The treaty was concluded at Prairie du Chien in the Michigan Territory on July 15, 1830.)
