Thomas Plain's address (175-?) regarding the Governor's decision to place Col. William Johnson as British Superintendent of Indian Affairs. Of note, Col Johnson led the Iroquois and colonial militia forces during the French and Indian War, and counted the capture of Fort Niagara among his successes.
