Treaty between the United States of America and the tribes of Indians called the Wyandots, Delawares. Shawanoes, Ottawas, Chipewas, Putawatimes, Miamis, Eel-river, Weea's, Kickapoos, Piankashaws, and Kaskaskias, August 3, 1795, 7 Stat. 49-54. ( Peace treaty between the Wyandots, Delawares, Shawnees, Ottawas, Chippewas, Potawatomies, Miamis, Eel River, Weas, Kickapoos, Piankashaws, and Kaskaskians. The Indian tribes ceded to the U.S. land near the mouth of the Illinois River where it empties into the Mississippi. The U.S. relinquished claims to land north of the Ohio River, east of the Mississippi and north-southward of the Great Lakes. Prior treaties between the U.S. and these tribes were voided. The treaty was concluded at Greeneville in the territory of the U.S., northwest of the River Ohio.)
