Treaty with the Ricara Tribe, July 18, 1825, 7 Stat. 259-261. ( Treaty of Peace and Friendship between the United States and the Ricara Tribe. The Indians were taken under the protection of the United States and acknowledge its supremacy. The agents of the President are to designate places for trade and the Indians agreed never to sell guns or ammunition to tribes unfriendly to the United States. The treaty was concluded at the Ricara Village on July 18, 1825.)
