Hayford, Gold Coast Land Tenure and the Forest Bill, 1911

Pamphlet entitled "Gold Coast Land Tenure and the Forest Bill,1911: A Review of the Situation," by Casely Hayford and published in London in 1912 by C. M. Phillips. This pamphlet was published at the request of the Amanhin and Ahinfu (kings and Chiefs) of the Central and Western Provinces of the Gold Coast, in Conference with the Aborigines' Rights Protection Society (the first anti-colonial organization founded in the Gold Coast), in August 1911. Mr. Hayford argued against the implementation of the Forest Bill of 1911, which allowed management of uncultivated lands to rest with the British government.
