Commissioners at Halifax/Warrenton. Army account abstracts
Army accounts of the North Carolina Line settled by the Commissioners at Halifax from September 1, 1784 to February 1, 1785, and the Commissioners at
Warrenton in 1786. The accounts listed names and rank, amount paid and who received the money, along with any needed remarks. Of note, the payments
were listed in pounds, shillings and pence rather than dollars. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the Department of
Archives and History in Raleigh, North Carolina).
