May 2, 1775 The recantations of a number of person from Marblehead, which were accepted by the Committee of Safety. Of note, Benjamin Marston signed one of these recantations; however, he fled to Nova Scotia in 1776, and remained a Loyalist throughout the war. See LLMC #39563 for a related document.
