Forty-fifth Legislature. House. No. 17. The Committee on the Judiciary submitted: Resolves directing the manner of engrossing the acts and
resolves and for preserving the same. This provided directions for printing the final engrossed acts, rather than having them hand-written, and using paper
large enough so the documents could be bound. The Secretary of State was to supervise the process and keep the completed volumes in his office.
