pork, 1858. No pork or beef, packed in Maine or elsewhere, could be shipped out of state without an inspection stamp, unless a shipmaster could produce
an inspection certificate. Any buyer could demand an inspection if there were no certificate. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally
