|
|
1845 Report of the Joint Select Committee regarding what claims are now under the charge of the state's agent in Washington, and how said claims are being prosecuted. After examination, the committee listed the various military claims under the Act of Congress of June 13, 1843, as well as the claims under the Treaty of Washington, and then balance. The committee also found that the agent properly discharged his duty to Maine; much review and attachments were included to discuss various specific points.
