February 18, 1834 Report of the House Committee on claims regarding the petition of Charles Miller and John C. Glidden who were authorized agents for
Canada Road in 1830. After consideration of their claims that they are owed money from the state, the committee resolved to pay them some of the
money; the remainder given if the petitioners could produce satisfactory evidence of completion of a designated section of the road. (Digitized from a
